Before you share your story...

let me tell you mine..

Every photographer has a story, and mine is rooted in the trails, rivers, mountain views of the Laurel Highlands, and paw prints. Grab a cup of coffee, and let me share a little about the journey that brought me here.

The Laurel Highlands isn't just where I photograph, it's where my story began.

I'm a photographer based in the heart of southwestern Pennsylvania, proudly calling the Laurel Highlands home while serving clients throughout the region and wherever their adventures take us. My work is rooted in a love of exploration, meaningful connection, and the outdoors.

Long before I started documenting weddings and family milestones, I was hiking the trails, wandering through forests, exploring our waterways, and discovering hidden corners of the Laurel Highlands. I even spent time working a as a river guide and driving shuttle routes for a local whitewater rafting company, giving me a unique appreciation for the landscapes, communities, and adventures that make this region so special.

Those experiences continue to shape the way I see the world—and the way I photograph it.

My photography blends candid moments with a documentary approach, creating images that feel genuine, timeless, and true to your story. Rather than directing every moment, I gently guide when needed while allowing the real laughter, quiet emotions, and meaningful connections to unfold naturally. The result is a gallery that captures not only how your day looked, but how it felt.

I'm endlessly inspired by the intersection of nature, history, architecture, and conservation. Whether we're exchanging vows beneath towering trees, hiking to a scenic overlook, exploring a charming small town, or spending a quiet evening with the people you love most, I believe the environment becomes part of your story, not just the backdrop.

Although the Laurel Highlands will always be my home base, I have a deep love for travel. Experiencing new landscapes, cultures, and communities continually inspires my creativity, and I'm always excited for the next adventure. Whether your story unfolds on a Pennsylvania trail, along the coast, in a bustling city, or halfway around the world, I'd be honored to document it.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me hiking a new trail, planning my next trip, volunteering with search and rescue, or spending time with my husband and the animals at Itsabear Farms. And wherever the adventure leads, there's almost always a dog by my side.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: the best photographs don't just preserve what a place looked like—they preserve what it felt like to be there.

If that sounds like the way you want your story remembered, I'd love to tell it.
